Hotel Vanessa has been owned and run by the same family for more than twenty years. In a resort of chalets and private residences, it is one of the few hotels where the owners are present every day, which guests notice in the welcome, the attention to detail and the way requests are handled without fuss.
This page tells you who we are, what the building is like and what we believe a good hotel in Verbier should offer.
An impressive chalet with 53 suites
The hotel is a large chalet built in the 1970s, in the slate-roofed style of the village, and fully refurbished since. Behind the wooden facade are 53 suites from 30 to 160 m², the most spacious rooms in Verbier: every one has a balcony and a walk-in wardrobe, and the duplexes and the Penthouse spread over two floors with separate bedrooms.
Downstairs, Brasserie le V and its bar, the wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi, the ski room with heated lockers, a meeting room for 30 and a free underground garage complete the picture. Everything is designed for the way people actually spend a week in the mountains.

The family and the team
A family hotel is not a category for us but a way of working: the owners are on site, decisions are quick and personal, and the same faces welcome you year after year. Our reception speaks French, English, Italian and Spanish.
Hospitality is our passion, and it shows in the small things: a free shuttle to the lifts whenever you need it, boots dried overnight, a table kept at the brasserie after a long day, and honest advice about the mountain from people who ski it themselves.
What we believe a Verbier hotel should offer
Space, first of all: a holiday in the Alps is better when the whole family is not sharing 20 m². Then simplicity: breakfast is included in every rate, parking is free, the shuttle is free, the ski room is free, and the best rate is always the one you get by booking directly with us.
And a sense of place: Italian brasserie cooking and Valais wines at Brasserie le V, local wood and stone in the spa, and a team that will tell you where the snow is good today or which trail is clear in June.
